How Dropbox Saved My Photos

Lately I had been having this pesky little problem where I couldn’t even update my phone because I didn’t have enough space.  Which led to not being able to update or download certain apps, getting a message that I had no more space when I went to snap a picture, the list goes on and on.  In my mind, the solution to my problem was inevitably going to be getting a new phone when my contract is up in April.  However, this didn’t actually solve the problem… sure, I would get a blank slate without having the delete any of my pictures.  But what are the chances I would ever dig out of old phone and find the pictures?  I had to find a way to save all of my pictures and free up space on my phone.

That’s when my brother told me about Dropbox.  I am probably the last person on the planet to find out about Dropbox… but just incase I’m not – Dropbox is an app that you can upload and save photos and files.  You can back them up and access them at anytime.  Once the initial setup is complete, you can set up dropbox to automatically backup all of your photos which is an awesome feature.  Dropbox is a free app that gives you 2.0 GB of free storage, but if you would like more space you can subscribe to pay for it.

So I uploaded all of my photos, did a lot of deleting on my phone, and that’s how Dropbox saved my photos (no pun intended).

I have been failing miserably at my half marathon training lately.  Now that the weather seems to have finally broke (I hope), it’s crunch time for me.  I began the week yesterday with a run that kicked my butt.  I know it doesn’t take long to get back into shape, but it is painful.  Especially when you live in an area where hills are abundant.

I also notice a huge difference in how I feel when I’m running when my diet is on track (which it hasn’t been lately).  I have found myself succumbing to quick, unhealthy fixes when I’m feeling hungry and stressed out (which seems to be more often with the move coming up in 2 weeks).  So today, I need to get back on track!

Breakfast is 1 slice of Ezekiel bread with Justin’s Vanilla Almond Butter and 4 clementines:

Have a great day!
