Hump Day Breakfast Sandwich + A New Workout

Happy hump day, friends!

Last night I got home late from work and didn’t have time or energy to cook, so I threw together a quick dinner of Boca burgers and leftover potatoes (or as Kris said – I dipped some cardboard in BBQ sauce and called it a night).  Not exactly a gourmet meal, but it was done in approx 2 minutes.  Boom.


I started the morning bright and early with a new workout.  I have been a little Groupon crazy lately and with all of my yoga and circuit classes done, I needed something new to supplement my LA Fitness options.  I had been hearing great reviews of FASTER so I gave it a try and it was awesome!  It is basically an hour of killer circuits.  I’m probably not going to be able to move later.

After the class this morning and my measly meal of “cardboard and BBQ” last night, I was super hungry so I made this awesome breakfast sandwich with Ezekiel bread, 2 eggs, 1 slice Trader Joe’s sliced gouda, and 2 slices of turkey bacon. So yummy.


On the menu today, another chicken salad bowl for lunch


And yogurt with apples and cinnamon for an afternoon snack:


Dinner is still TBD.  But I have a butternut squash that I’ve been meaning to make something with for quite some time.  Gotta run, happy Wednesday!
