Easy Tomato Alfredo Linguine

On Thursday I was feeling hungry and lazy when dinner rolled around.  So I whipped up another easy pasta creation (Thursdays are slowly becoming pasta days). I can’t say it’s the healthiest thing I’ve ever made, but it was a delicious and simple comfort food:

Easy Tomato Alfredo Linguine

Ingredients:

– 1 box linguine

– 1 jar of Alfredo sauce

– 3 stem tomatoes

– Garlic bread (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1 – pour yourself a glass of wine. Step 2 – Follow the directions on the box to prepare the pasta. Step 3 – Dice up the fresh tomatoes, Step 4 – Heat the Alfredo sauce in a small sauce pan. Step 5 – Mix it all together. Step 6 – Enjoy!

We paired ours with some (super not healthy) frozen garlic bread (heat oven to 425 F and bake for 5-7 minutes)

You may want to adjust the portion sizes. There are only 2 of us, so there were lots of leftovers.
