Yesterday morning I finally broke my 4 day rest streak and made it to a Fushion class at the gym, and it felt great! I don’t know if it was the endorphins, but I was in a much better mood for the rest of the day.
For breakfast, was another slice of Ezekial bread with Justin’s vanilla almond butter and a small glass of OJ:
Lunch consisted of another batch of this delicious kale, chicken and wild rice bowl. I seriously can’t get enough of this, it might be the best part of my workday.
Snack – green tea and a hard boiled egg
For dinner we went to a happy hour at Sienna Mercato in downtown Pittsburgh. Sienna has a reputation for their awesome meatballs, but unfortunately by the time we ended the happy hour no one was in the mood to go to a sit-down dinner. We will definitely be going back to try those meatballs. The top floor bar has a great atmosphere including a glass roof that provides an awesome view of the city!
I snacked on a few appetizers and had 2 Bumble Berry Fathead’s beers. This beer is awesome because it is not too sweet but you can definitely taste the hints of berry. If you order them at Fat Head’s Saloon they even come with a few blueberries floating around! (Side note – I actually had a dream the other night about a Fathead’s sandwich, they are so so good. You can’t make this stuff up.)
So we ended up going the
healthy route and ordering a pepperoni & banana pepper pizza on the way home. I didn’t even wait for it to cool before I dug in, let alone snap a pic of the goodness. I love pizza.
On another random note, I did not watch the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show yet, but I do love me some Taylor Swift and this article on the 51 thoughts you will have while watching.
