Hi there! I can’t believe the week is finally coming to an end, did it seem long to anyone else??
This week I switched it up a bit and tried a new gym routine. I love running when the weather is nice, but living in PA in the winter, and working a full-time desk job… it is cold and dark by 6pm and those are not favorable running conditions at all. So I’m trying to take a different approach to staying in shape this winter!
So I put on my big girl pants and I tried a new gym this week. One of my colleagues happened to send me a groupon for a gym that I had never heard of called Umberger Performance. If you’re in the Pittsburgh area and you’re looking for a new fitness routine so far I really like it. I forgot how intimidating it is to walk into a new place where you don’t know anyone and have no idea what to expect. But everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
This is what my routine is shaping up to look like this week:
Monday – rest
Tuesday – spinning
Wednesday – fusion class
Thursday – rest
Friday – fusion class
Saturday – hot yoga (power vinyasa)
Sunday – run
I have noticed since changing up my routine that I have been extra hungry! We seem to keep ending up in Mexico on Friday nights, but nothing ends the week quite like a big margarita with
some a healthy helping of chips and salsa (that was our second salsa bowl of the evening). mmmmmm.
